About David Mendivil Gonzalez

A certified actuary and successful real estate investment professional, David Mendivil González possesses more than 20 years of international experience in property management, development, and investment. With strong knowledge of risk management, Mr. Mendivil González currently guides Grupo Desarollador del Noroeste, S.A. de C.V., as President and Director. The company pursues projects related to distressed properties, housing development for families with low to middle incomes, mortgage-backed securities offerings, and real estate investment trusts. Since the economic downturn, Mr. Mendivil González’s firm has bought numerous distressed properties, performed renovations, and sold the units for profit.

As a Commercial Director of Mexico Retail Advisors, David Mendivil González facilitates the Latin-American expansion plans of more than 350 multinational companies. The firm, which specializes in commercial real estate and shopping centers, currently operates holdings with notable tenants including office supply stores, home improvement centers, coffee vendors, department stores, and financial institutions. Previously, he served GMAC as Director of Underperforming Assets in Mexico City. He began his career as an actuary.

A business graduate of Harvard University, David Mendivil González offers sound judgment, exceptional analytical and managerial skills, superlative ethical standards, and strong, positive values. In addition, he excels in interpersonal negotiations and collaborative work. He began his education at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Sciences.
